CLP Fees for Services to Tribunals
Canon Law
Professionals provides dioceses, and tribunals in particular, an
economical alternative to hiring a full time, or even a part-time
canonist. These days when diocesan budgets are tight, CLP can provide
you with quality canonical drafting for a fraction of the cost of a new
hire. And we guarantee that not only will your brief be reviewed by two
degreed canonists before being returned to you, but that our work will
be tailored to your needs, using your documents, your sentence or
defender’s text shell, and your law sections.
Our marriage case work for tribunals is billed at a flat rate on a per
case basis:
Briefs (including advocate or defender of the bond briefs) are $175 per
case
Sentence Arguments are $225 per case
Our fees for other tribunal services are negotiable depending on what
is needed
We do not charge for general mailing of materials
A Hypothetical Comparison
Running a tribunal these days is costly and while tribunals often need
the extra help, hiring another full-time canonist can be prohibitively
expensive. Canon Law Professionals offers a solution to this problem by
providing tribunals with quality work product for a fraction of the
cost.
A typical canonist may write 50 cases per year. A canonist
making $40,000 a year would likely be paid another $17,000 in benefits.
Then one must factor in secretarial costs, office space, a computer,
office supplies, etc. These costs add up, and the resulting cost per
judicial sentence likely will cost at least $1140.00. A
canonist making $60,000 plus benefits adds another $500 to the cost of
each sentence, resulting in a per case cost of approximately $1601.00.
With CLP, you can have us produce those same 50 sentences for a flat
rate of $225 per case, or $11,250.
That is considerable savings for a quality product. |
